We were happy to see that no one travelling Oregon's highways perished over Christmas, but a spate of recent reports shows that holiday travel remains a danger.  A single car fatal collision was recently reported on Highway 6 on the way to Tillamook.  Another head on collision took a life in the past few days on Highway 30, and police continue investigation of a fatal collision in Bend.

News outlets also reported the filing of several suits against the bus touring company and the State of Oregon for the tour bus accident that took several lives in Pendleton last year.
