So we thought it may be a good idea to switch phone and internet providers at the office. The price looked good, the internet speeds were faster. Why not? Well, now we know why not.
When we scheduled our install, we were not told that the phone switch would also switch off the internet. No problem, we will reschedule. Howevever, the one hand of the new phone company did not tell the other hand about the postponement, and at noon on Friday, the phones went dead.
After literally six hours on the phone over three days, we learned about two companies, and how they respond to customer problems. One company denied responsibility, and refused to contact the other for clarification. The other stayed on the line, and investigated the problem, and even when things did not go right, offered options.
